Laguna Phuket Golf Club - Phuket Golf Courses

Laguna Phuket Golf Club is a resort style 18 hole golf course located within the exclusive Laguna Phuket development just 20 minutes from the airport. Situated on the exclusive Bang Tao Bay on the western side of Phuket Island, this par 71 layout stretches 6,850 yards from the championship tees. The front 9 holes of this Max Wexler designed golf course opened for play 7 December 1991 and the back nine was opened in August, 1992.

Carved out of the existing sand hills, the front 9 holes, a par 36, meander through a once flourishing coconut plantation. Players must be exact on their tee shots as water comes into play on 5 of the 9 holes. The back 9 features water on 8 of the 9 holes. Playing to a par 35, golfers will enjoy the challenge of back-to-back par 5 finishing holes, and three par 3’s. The 11th hole, although only 138 yards, will have a lasting impression.

Also available at Laguna Phuket Golf Club are practice facilities such as a pitching green, driving range and 2,500 square meter putting green. A teaching professional is employed to assist golfers with instruction. The excellent Clubhouse facilities include a Pro-Shop, Men’s and Ladies Locker Rooms, Billiard Room and three tennis courts.
